American Idol 2009’s first runner-up Adam Lambert today arrived in Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat airport for his performance at this year’s H-Artistry concert in the city on January 4.

The 30-year-old singer left a deep impression with his friendly behavior on local fans who waited for hours to see their idol. Lambert gave his autographs to some fans at the airport.
Earlier, to welcome their idol, members of Vietnamese Glamberts, Adam’s fan club in Vietnam filmed a video, expressing their happiness to welcome Lambert to the country.
Adam Lambert became prominent after appearing on the 8th season of American Idol in 2009. Also that year, he released his debut album “For Your Entertainment,” which ranked number three on the Billboard 200, selling 198,000 copies in the US in its first week and reaching the top 10 in several countries worldwide. Its singles, "For Your Entertainment," "Whataya Want from Me" and "If I Had You" also became successes internationally.
His second album “Trespassing,” released on May 15, 2012, made its debut at the number one spot on the Billboard 200 album chart, also topping the Billboard Digital Albums Chart and Canada's Digital Albums Chart.
After Lambert, K-pop star NS Yoon G also landed on the city to join the American singer to rock the air at the upcoming concert. The last international artist of the show, renowned Portuguese soul singer Aurea is also on her way.
