8:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. CST

CHICAGO Area: BTIKM was played twice on Monday on WTMX 101.9 during the station’s “U Mix It” program, which runs from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. CST. (This works just like the Q102 Philly “Takeover” but the show is much longer!) Right before 8 p.m. CST, begin hitting green arrow up for BTIKM! (If song is not there, add song by typing it in the box/space on the right and hitting the arrow to add it at the bottom of the list.)

Comment by Barbls on March 24, 2012 at 1:30pm: LeBaggeLady, I have always been lost by Rise's analytical undertakings. I am a realist based on facts and what I have learned from others. VH1 bases where a Video lands on the countdown by so many factors, voting, sales, charts, viewing, etc. No one thing is going to do it. We have the votes, have to increase our viewing and really need to get Adam more air play to go higher on the charts and get more sales. That is what a realist sees and knows what they have to do to get BTIKM to #1. Working on airplay and viewing and keeping up on the voting, in fact, will vote more. Hoping more people rate the music frequently so stations see people want to hear BTIKM more often and give it more airplay!!

It only takes a few minutes and has songs currently on the radio. It is not like HIt Predictor with endless Country and Rap and where you want to scream as to how bad the songs are. You think it will never end!!

We need our tastes heard and this is a great way of doing it. Only when Adam's music is on it as it is right now with BTIKM!!

Comment by Barbls on March 24, 2012 at 1:07pm: ok Did Rate the Music for Kiss FM Boston, Z100 and Rate the Music itself!! (3). Adam's BTIKM were on all 3!! Yea!! Got an e-mail from Hit Predictor and going to do that today. The more we find ways to rate this song, the more it will be seen by the station. I just do not know if the stations get the Mediabase forms. I heard yesterday they go to one place at Cumulus or Clear Channel, etc. and the stations never see it, but they do get Rate the music. Anyway we can get them to get a positive rating of Adam' s music is the way to go. Let them know there are listeners out there that want to hear Adam's music!! If anyone does rate the music to other channels let us know and we will try to sign up and help get it playing at that channel!!

Comment by ssshap777 on March 24, 2012 at 11:45am: Barbls ~ # 20 was Canine ft. Nelly Furtado. I usually leave the ft part off simply because it takes so long to type the list off (especially when you type as slow as I do).

I'm thinking that anything we do to generate hits for Adam at the VH1 website counts in the whole scheme of things. Also I think maybe BTIKM could use some more comments under the video. It has 388. IIHY has 3,682 but of course it's been out much longer.

I just want to say that my perception of also requesting at local is because I have been diligent with that aspect at my local station since this journey began. And right now they have BTIKM, IIHY & WWFM on their mediabase form. I am a bit ashamed to say I don't listen to them though...

Everyone needs to go to their local station to see if they have a "Rate The Music." Do "Rate The Music" at the Top 40 Radio Stations, Everywhere you can. this is what stations look to for what they play. I wish I could say the mediabase forms does it, but by now you know it doesn't. Maybe it helps, but it is "Rate The Music" we know that definitely does it!!

I don't mean to be obnoxious about it, I am thinking "persistent" because, again, the fact that RCA feels strongly about doing it speaks volumes..and if you guys are participating nightly that makes me nervous since it literally has been painful (sore, numb fingers, etc) to get a spin. If you are not doing that then I would feel more hopeful if you would do it...that is why I have been asking.

I know if BTIKM was high on the charts both selling and playing on radio, it would be #1 this week. We are in a struggle and have to make our voting as stong as possible and our viewing number high so that we can keep going up!! I don't think Mediabase form requesting is going to do the trick. Everyone needs to start doing "Rate the Music" everywhere they can. This has the most impact on the station!!! I am serious. Got to Rate the music everywhere you can and let them know how much you love BTIKM. This is the one thing that can make the difference!!

Comment by LeBaggeLady on March 24, 2012 at 11:14am: I hate to dominate the thread so much today, but I have asked if you concentrate on the Chicago Mix because that is what RCA has asked us to do, straight from them, not only a fan. That tells me that radio spins are very important and where they spin obviously (large market). There is an answer in their wanting to do that each night. This week it has been torturous to get one spin and it used to be easier to get more spins, at minimum two.

Comment by LeBaggeLady on March 24, 2012 at 11:08am: The last few weeks I concentrated on mediabase requesting, then this week I have keyed in on voting to get radio spins at various stations, voting Vh1, MTV March Madness, viewing. I have to think that radio spins make an impact for Vh1...would they have a major Countdown video that wasn't being played a lot on the radio..? I get frustrated by the requesting. If each and every Glambert just made sure they filled out the media base form for their station, request directly appropriately, Adam's career would be so much smoother according to the number of his fans. Okay I'm preaching to the choir, but jeez I get so frustrated...why do we HAVE to work so hard because others don't get it. And I do think his issue with being gay is the major reason he needs his fans to participate. He is breaking new ground.
