LOS ANGELES (LALATE EXCLUSIVE) – "Adam Lambert’s response to the Colwel Platinum Entertainment lawsuit is due after the holidays, LALATE can exclusively reveal. Adam Lambert was sued by Colwel Platinum Entertainment Inc earlier this month. The Court has now set Lambert’s answer due by January 1, 2012.
On November 15, Lambert agreed to “save the expense of serving a summons and complaint in this case. I understand that I will keep all defense or objections to the lawsuit, the court’s jurisdiction, and the venue of the citation, but that I waive any objections to the absence of a summons or of service.” He also agreed “that I must file and serve an answer or a motion under Rule 12 within 60 days from November 2, 2011, the date when this request was sent. If I fail to do, a default judgment will be entered against me.”
Lambert’s defense counsel has not been formally noted by the Court. But on November 16, Lambert receive notice of the Court’s Standing Order (of November 2) via attorney Donald Passman, LALATE can report.
Passman (of Gang, Tyre, Ramer and Brown) is well known for his book “All You Need to Know About the Music Business”. The book is currently in its seventh edition. David Geffen once said of the book “I highly recommend this book to anyone with an interest in the music business.” Rolling Stone added that the book “should be required reading for anyone planning or enduring a career in the [music] biz.” Link to LaLate News Aricle

Everyone please read Kerry Kolsch's article on the Colwel Lawsuit and particularly her analysis of the Complaint! She has understood it so perfectly and explained it in layman terms so we can all understand. I am so proud of myself as this is exactly how I understood it. I never could have explained it for all to understand as she has!!! She layed it out point by point and nailed it!!

Now if we can only get Adam's lawye(s) to file an Answer to the Complaint and end this once in for all!!
I have 2 Questions:
1. Why Amazon let BFM back on?
2. Why it is taking so long for Adam's lawyer(s) to Answer the Complaint?
