I will start with my hopes

For me it's always been about the Vocals

Adam has a voice like no other...His voice soars into the universe

He hits high notes that can shatter windows

When he goes into his lower register he does it so effortlessly

I'm really hoping for less overproduction

Adam's voice is so powerful...crystal clear...flawless

He doesn't need all the bells & whistles

I'd love to see a rockier Adam

Yet at the same time keeping some songs

Along the lines of broken open & aftermath

In my heart I believe Adam is going to blow us away

He does love to keep us guessing

@debbielynn, It is about the vocals for me too. I just want this album to be everything Adam wants it to be. Adam really is loving what he is creating and I I feel so confident that everyone is going to love it too!!!

I love when Adam says "authentic self"..... it encompasses all that I hope for his 2nd album. Even with the speed in which his first album was recorded he produced a piece of art that will endure. I think he laced that first album with what he loved, but not of who he is......hence his "authentic self" was underneath the layers of tech, not allowing the general public to see what we knew. 

Yes Adam I want you to go under that "plastic veneer" and let your vocals shine. Singers should tell us a story thru song, it draws us in, it makes us relate. (Example he told us a story with Outlaws of Law) There are many great artists who can tell a story even with less than stellar voices.......Adam has the most stellar voice I've heard....that coupled with his songs telling us a story "calling things out" "keeping it real".........That is what I hope for in his second album and I know Adam will not let down his "amazing fans"

After reading Adams answers during his twitter party

More than ever I believe his album is going to be of epic proportions

Adam once again has poured his heart and soul into this masterpiece of his

This is his baby....His creation which he is breathing life into

@Barbls I do believe this is Adams dream album

He is the author from the beginning to the end...It is everything he wants it to be

You are so right @dylangirl when you speak of storytelling

I believe Adam is writing a book for us...A book which will mirror Adams life

We will certainly feel every emotion with each lyric

With each song he will take us on a journey... To a place we've yet to experience

Not only is Adam creating an album which will go platinum

He is also writing a number one best seller

I'm so happy Adam is recording an album that is exactly what he wants it to be

I love the way they had a thread at AO mostly devoted to Adam using the word Trippin. With some people saying oh no he should not be talking about drugs. What about the Trevor Project, etc. Mind boggling.

First they took this literally. Second. Adam is an artist. This album is personal and about his life. His life does includes some drug use. He has already talked about this. In fact Burning Man was where he realized he needed to make his life happen!! Thank God for that trippin happening!! I keep asking myself haven't people gotten to understand Adam just a little to this point.

Lyric Adam was quoting: "one day I was trippin, that's when I could see, that the ether that I tapped into could be reality"

Adam took us down the Rabbit Hole and know he is bringing us up to the reality of his life. I love that he is sharing how he has felt on his journey to this point. His twitter Party held at 4:am EST, i had just gone to bed darn't, was so nice of him and he treated us as friends. The thread at AO just made me again say "what is going on there." Same old, same old. The inane continues!!!

We have also learned that there will be 3 singles, 12 songs on the album and a Deluxe version!! The 8 more weeks until a single is killing me, but would wait longer if this is what Adam needed to make sure he gets what he wants. This is his Dream Album. I know Adam will make us feel emotions from euphoric to sad with some dancing and singing thrown in. I just can't wait to hear his new music. I have utter confidence that we are absolutely going to love it!!!

I think some people take Adam far too seriously these days. IT'S MUSIC....he's a SINGER who likes to have fun <3 I'm glad he does, because he helped me lighten up. When people go in too deep, it spoils it for me because I like his mystery and I'm so happy that this new CD is going to be more personal because it would make him more vulnerable, real and imperfect, but I would never want to unriddle him completely. Adam must laugh at some of the things fans write...because at the end of the day he's just a guy...an honest guy, doing his best for us all...whose life has been hard, yes...but there's also been wildness and fanciful things there that I think are cool when left in the dark, glittering when the smallest light hits them. This is what makes Adam special...the fact that he surprises you.

 

In terms of sound...Adam's voice is be amazing on this album. So many glory notes...vocal acrobatics...hope there's lots of chill out songs, but I need a good few upbeat belters too :) <3 <3
