Listed below are a few ways in which you can support and make an impact. I hope fans will want to actively support Adam's new music and use these tools to help get his music to chart and listened to beyond the fandom:

BILLBOARD TWITTER REAL-TIME CHARTS

What activity do the Billboard Twitter Real-Time charts measure?

Each of the charts rank the most emergent songs that are being shared on Twitter in the U.S. Here is a link to BB's Twitter charts: Twitter Charts! You can also download the Billboards App on your mobile phone.

How are songs shared and/or mentioned on Twitter?

Song shares are tracked and incorporated into the Billboard Twitter Real-Time Charts by:

• the use of, or the inclusion, of a link to the song via music listening platforms, such as Spotify, Vevo and iTunes.

• the use of various track sharing notations, such as the hashtags “#nowplaying” or “#np,” along with song/artist name.

• the use of various terms associated with the song and song playing, such as “music,” “song,” “track,” “listen.”

Below are some examples illustrating the types of tweets about Ariana Grande’s “Problem,” which could be counted towards a position on the Billboard Twitter Real-Time Charts:

SHAZAM

Shazam is one of the world’s most popular apps that connects people to the world around them through their mobile device (you can also install on your PC (Guide To Installing Shazam On a PC or Laptop). Their Chart is constantly referenced by the music industry as a true indicator of market interest in new material and a monitor of the hit potential of a track or artist.

How To Use Shazam?

    1. Hold your phone towards the audio and tap on the 'Shazam' icon
        Within seconds, you’ll know the artist, track and other 
        interesting info.

    2. You will also see options to "buy" (through iTunes, Amazon and
        Google Play) and

    3. "Share" - Click on the Share Button and icons will appear for
        Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp, Pinterest and Google+. Select
        one icon at a time and a box will appear as shown below. All
        you have to do is click send.

     4.  Shazam also gives you the ability to stream full songs.
        After you shazam a song you will see a choice of streaming
        platforms: Spotify Rdio and Beats Music. Select one to
        connect and start streaming the full song.

When Adam's new single drops it will be on media sites, radio sites, You Tube. and VEVO. These are great places to Shazam from. Definitely when Adam Performs on TV! Please be aware that: Shazam counts the number of people Shazaming a song for charting, not the number of times a person Shazams.

STREAMING SERVICES/MUSIC LISTENING PLATFORMS

Streaming is now playing a big part in how songs charts.*  The following are some of the most popular listening platforms: Shazam, Spotify, iHeartRadio, Rdio, Rhapsody, Google Play, Youtube, and Beats Music.

Note: 1,500 song streams is equivalent to a single download or an album sale. The new ranking system will also count the sales of 10 separate songs from an album as equivalent to one album sale.

* Streams on ad-supported radio services such as Pandora and Media, Inc. won't count toward the BB album chart. YouTube views will count toward BB Hot 100 Songs Charts, but not Album Chart according to Nielsen (Billboard 200 Chart to Include On-Demand Streaming in Rankings)

1. Look under "New Releases/Music" or search for Adam's new
    single when The Original High is released.

2. Make sure when you play/stream Adam's music that they are Online
    and not Offline (via your library).

3. Another way to stream on listening platforms is by creating radio
    stations. In Spotify you can start one and personalize the station
    with the artists you want to listen to:

1. Open Spotify.
2. Tap the Menu button in the top left corner. 
   
   
3. Tap Radio.
   
   
4. Tap the new station button.
   
5. Enter a track, artist, or playlist in the search box then select it to get started.

All done! You can create up to twenty stations at a time.

To skip a track, just click Next.

If you are using Rhapsody, they have recently introduced a great feature. When you share a song you are streaming to twitter, you can now click on the a button within the tweet and it will play within twitter. I tested it and this only works when sharing to twitter from your mobile phone (tested it with iPhone). See below to see what the Tweet looks like.

RADIO: Local and Online

Though I am not a radio garu, and am over 29, if Pop Radio stations play Adam's music, I will request when it Hits Their Playlists. Text is my main way of requesting, but will also Tweet and request on Facebook. Locally I will request via phone. I am not going to worry about whether they have some way of big brothering me to find my age, and I am not offering it.
