I feel the need to keep posting at AO because I do think voters & requesters needed to keep fans reminded of the need for both. One prime example was a thread in AD that talked about Adam and his career vs a couple of other artists, which sort of led into what the fans could do to help Adam. I immediately mentioned requesting. I mentioned that if every fan requested at their own local station minimally and perhaps at a few media bases it would have a huge impact for Adam. Well, one person who has made a few snide remarks (snide in my opinion) all along about the need to do anything but flail stated that insanity was doing the same thing over & over with the same results..part of her post mentioned things listed in @Godam's thread as being part of that said insanity and believe me I have never seen this person request in that thread. I stated back to her that if most of the Glamberts were requesting & texting that analogy might be true, but just a very minimal number of fans actually request. I am paraphrasing my responses, but you will get the idea...I mentioned that if we were not requesting to get our wishes for Adam to be on the radio it reminds me of the joke, "Lord let me win the lottery", next day "Lord let me win the lottery" and after awhile the Lord says "buy a lottery ticket"....And Adam has tweeted for us to request which should show them that even he knows it is very important...so sad he has to beg for his fans to do it. After posting about the need for requesting and why I did notice a couple of new people in @Godam thread...will have to see if the bump stays or lessons as it has in the past when I have tried to remind the need for each individual Glabmert to request. When we first started media base requesting I trolled the internet and I noticed that many other fan groups of major artists use the same media bases too.

I know this is getting too long............

Did anyone watch Queen sing on idol the other night with the finalists? Wow, it was such a disappointment from when Adam sang with them in the finale.

I'm glad that BTIKM has managed to hang in there on the MMTOP20. It sure did better there than it did on VH1.

There is something so pure when Adam sings without anything else in the background that clutches my heart and soul. He is truly unique in this music world. Someday someway more people will understand his being a gift from the heavens. I was truly getting to the point before he was on AI that I was amazed at the mediocrity of what I was hearing on the radio. Since I grew up seeing the impact of the uniqueness of the Beatles and all the other acts after them (I was pretty young then which means I am not now), but every few months a new song from unique artists would blow people away, and being unique plus talented was the biggest thing....couldn't wait to hear the next big song. Leap to now and mediocrity, but with a lot of empty hype seems to be the thing. Ok, off my soap box since I am preaching to the choir.
