You don't need to delete the songs on your hard drive. All gifts count toward charting. If you bought the album, you can still dl song(s) from the album once to count toward charting,

I believe that "Hey You" and others on the album have had more play than Lay Me Down at Festivals. Lay me Down was the last one added to the album and we have not had a really clear version until recently. We need to see how it goes. Right now important to get Lay Me Down charting in U.S., Canada and Great Britain! I hope all of Adam's fans are supporting in buying and gifting!

You can count on me hitting iTunes, this is on my must-do list, lol. I had pre-ordered the album and will be downloading and gifting LMD. I'm trying to remember how we did it, we can only download once, and when receiving gift, we have to delete the one in our library and also delete it from recycle bin before downloading the gift, am I imagining this? I remember it's something complicated, lol

I can wait until tomorrow. I have about 13 email friends who want us to start trending Lay Me Down on Twitter. I wish I knew how to do this. I always reply or retweet on twitter and never really start anything.

I would love to see this happen in the U.S. A lot of Adam fans have bought the album 'True' (including myself) in presale and when I tweet will promote the album as well as buying and gifting LMD. I know Avicii fans that like "Liar Liar" or "Addicted to You," etc. are promoting those songs so us promoting "Lay Me Down" should cause no offense. I am pretty excited for 12 midnight and hoping LMD has a good showing on the U.S. and worldwide iTunes charts.

Adam Fans are supporting Avicii's album, but when it comes to "Lay Me Down," especially after all the promo, we need to buy and gift it and have the bar next the song light up. If we can get LMD to chart, it will show that it should be the next single. If there is no reaction to the song, what does that say. We are being respectful to Avicii, but we are Adam Fans first and I know I love this song and want it to be the next single. This is what we are here for to support Adam. Avicii said it was his favorite song on the album so I am supporting his favorite!

Comment by milkywayfairy on September 16, 2013 at 3:06am: I was looking at tweets of avicii's fans, that's a hugh fanbase and very active on twitter, they're promoting Wake Me Up at #1 and You Make Me at #5 on iTunes, that's what it should be at this time as they are official singles. When LMD becomes a single, with avicii's fans supporting, it will blow off the chart as well. I hope Glambert don't mess by aggressively promoting it's an Adam song, they need to show respect for avicii, LDM is his song in his album. Amazing True is already #1 in 44 countries without even being released.
