Comment by Roro Broda on October 23, 2012 at 4:47am: fairywings 2 - that's the ridiculous part. RCA DO know there is a large Adam Lambert fan base in Australia. Adam had huge sales here with his first album and accompanying singles. And they CANNOT be unaware of the fantastic reponse to Adam's gigs here over the last couple of months.

Check with Barbl/Oshi to see just what is being bought. There is a long post from Barbls five back from here that will explain the present situation. She is waiting to see the purchasing reaction from the viewers of PLL. That will decide just what needs to be driven up the charts.

Have come to the conclusion we are way behind all the remote countries.

It is the only way to get RCA's attention. They are driving us so crazy with what they have done with Trespassing. We have to show our purchasing power to make them take us seriously.

TSP is being released everywhere it seems, even in what I call remote countries. Maybe there is nothing we can do, but I wonder if we all put on our thinking caps if we could come up with some sort of campaign to show Adam & RCA that there is a very large fan base who want it in Australia. May not help, just wondering.

Comment by Roro Broda on October 23, 2012 at 4:16am: Well is Adam forever to mainly be known for WWFM?? milkywayfairy - Adam had an enormous audience for Caulfield and blew everyone away. However - we have no word whatsoever about Trespassing - in any form - being added to radio in Australia. So many OZ fans have asked Sony Australia and have now reached the conclusion that an Aussie release is purely up to RCA. A hit in the U.S. will ensure that it's released here.

So glad we've all ordered the cd, edit etc from the U.S. So, no matter how much the people loved Adam at Caulfield and Take 40 and Federation Square in Melbourne there's virtually no chance of sales resulting.

We'll never understand RCA here. For some reason we seem to be totally forgotten - yet Adam has always had BIG sales here.

I'm not around much due to increasingly difficult RL issues. Do what I can and ALWAYS vote several times daily.

At adamdownunder we're prioritising any U.S. station playing Trespassing followed by ALL o/s stations playing any Adam music. Trespassing seems to be going OK elsewhere. :))

Anyway, WWFM is now #63 on iTunes pop songs charts. This makes me so mad. If Adam had promotion that he was actually singing on these shows Trespassing would be charting like crazy!! Kills me. Where are you RCA??? Enough of my ranting!!

Most of the donations have been used up for the Trespassing edit and then the EP. We were trying to keep the EP up there and were able to move it up each time we gifted, but as soon as we stopped, it started to go down again cause it wasn't be supported by others. I was hoping for a second push until PLL. I will know tomorrow if there is anything left over for tomorrow night after PLL. If not, I still will be gifting from my own money so get ready my favorite downloaders cause I will be at it for as long as I can afford. We need to wait and see what the viewers of PLL do. I am hoping for strong buying of Trespassing, but it might be Cuckoo. If there is a strong showing for Cuckoo, I am going to back that. If evenly divided, will go for Trespassing. It will probably be the song off of the Deluxe album so we really need to monitor what is being bought and drive that up the charts.

Ro, you can open a US iTunes a/c too, but will need a US iTunes gift card code, maybe someone in US can buy a gift card and give you the code. A US Glambert gave me the code. With gift card, I can only buy a song once and I cannot gift to others, so I bought each song and also the EP, now I can only do downloading.

I will never understand why sales throughout the world don't count for Adam. It's rediculous that if I'm Indian I have to buy from the US iTunes to give Adam support. But what can you do? Why isn't iTunes international and not domiciled to each country???????

From various tweets there's a lot of buying going on everywhere. I realise AS needs more download names but assume they have to come from within the U.S. Australia is NOT on the release list but has definitely donated towards U.S. sales. I hope 100% that RCA takes into account sales worldwide. I'm in awe of all the work this forum has done for Adam. Kudos to everyone.. the support, promotion will never end.
